Connect Your Wallet
Sign in to Aegis with your crypto wallet using Sign-In With Ethereum — no email, no password, no sign-up.
Wallet-first identity
Aegis has no email, no password, and no sign-up form. Your wallet is your account. Authentication uses Sign-In With Ethereum (SIWE, EIP-4361): you prove ownership of an address by signing a plain-text message. The signature happens in your wallet and never exposes your private key.
Aegis is non-custodial. Connecting a wallet lets you sign in and authorize actions — it does not hand Aegis your funds or your keys.
Supported wallets
- MetaMask — browser extension and mobile.
- WalletConnect (Reown) — connect hundreds of mobile and desktop wallets by QR code.
- Privy embedded wallet — created for you when you choose the optional social login, so you can start without an external wallet.
Both EVM chains and Solana are supported. Addresses are tracked in CAIP-10 format, which lets you link several wallets to one account (see below).
Steps to sign in
- Open Aegis and choose Connect Wallet.
- Pick your wallet (MetaMask, WalletConnect/Reown, or the optional Privy social login).
- Approve the connection request in your wallet.
- Aegis presents a SIWE message. Review it and sign — no gas, no transaction, just a signature.
- You are in. The signature is verified server-side and your session begins.
Multi-wallet and recovery
Because addresses use CAIP-10, you can link several wallets to the same account, and any verified wallet can recover the account. You can also register a passkey (WebAuthn) as a recovery factor. Account recovery is a deliberate 2-step process with a cooldown.
Sensitive actions (enabling automation, changing risk settings) require a step-up — a fresh wallet signature at the moment you act.
Next: Link your exchange.
