Fiat On-Ramp

Overview
The Fiat On-Ramp lets you convert local currency into crypto without leaving Aegis. Payments are handled by Transak, a third-party on-ramp provider.
Status: Beta. Availability of payment methods and currencies depends on Transak's coverage in your region.
Payment methods
- PIX — instant bank transfer (Brazil).
- SEPA — bank transfer (Eurozone).
- Card — debit or credit card.
Fees
Aegis charges a single, transparent fee on the on-ramp:
- Aegis fee: 0.50% on the fiat on-ramp. This is the only fee Aegis takes anywhere on the platform — there is no subscription, no monthly fee, and no markup on trading.
- The 0.50% is shown to you before you confirm the purchase, so you always see it up front.
Provider and network fees are separate. Transak charges its own processing fee, and blockchain network (gas) fees apply when the crypto is delivered on-chain. Those are set by the provider and the network, not by Aegis, and are displayed as part of the Transak checkout.
How it works
- Choose the amount and the crypto you want to buy.
- Select a payment method — PIX, SEPA, or Card.
- Review the quote, including the 0.50% Aegis fee and the separate provider and network fees.
- Confirm and complete payment with Transak.
- The crypto is delivered to your connected wallet.
Because Aegis is non-custodial, funds arrive in your own wallet — Aegis never holds them.
